In heat

May 20th, 2009

Our little girl is finally ‘in heat’! Seems like only yesterday we brought her back.

Hmm…now need to separate the two of them since it’s her first heat and she is only 10 months old. Not a good time to start breeding.

But how la when they are always in pair.

Spending every single moment together every single everyday…how how how???

Tried taking her inside for a short 15 mins and he barked non-stop and showed me this puppy face.

HOW ?

Maxis/Hotlink sucks

May 19th, 2009

Back in March when we were in Singapore, I tried sms-ing a friend there and ended up being charged 8 times for ONE SINGLE sms.  Thank god I was still using Hotlink, I could check my balance immediately and realised it did charge me 8 times for that ONE SINGLE sms.

Crazy shit..I stopped sms-ing altogether from then onwards of course. That time I didnt know whether it was due to the Singapore service provider of the number I sent to or Maxis/Hotlink.

Darren flew to Mumbai last Sunday.  Not being able to activate global roaming on such short notice for postpaid users, he had no choice but to get a new Hotlink number.

Yesterday night he sent me an SMS which ended up 11 freaking times on my phone! Could be more but he shut his phone immediately when I told him about it. Needless to say he was charged 11 times for again, sending only ONE SINGLE sms.

11 times for ONE SINGLE sms…That’s RM22 for 1 sms!!

I got so pissed I decided to call Hotlink to complain today.

But as usual they just couldnt care less. No refund, no nothing. Only an advise asking you to try switching to another India service provider.

And this is what you call customer care?

I just felt that there should be more that they could do. Afterall, we’re the customers using THEIR service even from abroad. What I got was definitely not the kind of help I’d had expected.

Couldnt they at least take notice of this problem and try to find out what went wrong?

I guess not.

I wonder if Digi/Celcom customers have this problem?

Perhaps its time for a change.

*quack*

p/s: For postpaid customers, I was told that you need to bring your passport + RM300 deposit  to the service center to activate global roaming. Worst still is if you are not the primary account holder…there’s no way you can do the activation. Only the primary is allowed to do it. So my advise is, just go on holiday without your phone. Else, get a local prepaid line.

Hello

May 14th, 2009

It’s been that long?

Gosh, didnt even realised the time.

Lots have happened, plenty of photos snapped but I was just too lazy busy.

More frequent updates coming up, I promise : )

Yummy Saturday

April 4th, 2009

Since buying his GPS few days ago, Darren has always wanted to explore around. “Making full use of it” according to him.

The photo is so blur I dont even need to blank out the number plates lol.

Me however, doesnt really have much interest in it as I dont see it as a necessity. We are not in the sales line anyway.  Translation = no travelling/driving around new places needed in our work.

So for dinner today, we went to William’s Cafe in Taman Mayang, PJ. Somewhere we didnt know how to get to. I must say I’m quite impressed. It was raining really heavily but we managed to avoid all jam areas and arrived just when my stomach was just getting hungry. Oh, and it also took us an a route we’ve never tried. Always loyal the same old LDP.

When we reached, there were not so much people. Probably due to the rain. And so we wasted no time ordering.

Wah lau I was so surprised Darren knew exactly what to order. Without a menu somemore ok. Looks like the boy has done his homework this evening while I worked hard at getting my Sony PSP.

One humongous mug of my favorites combined in 1, Logan + Ribena and one Teh Tarik for him.

It seems that they put in half a can of logan into the former. MMMmmmMMmm!! Me like :)

One Triple H (chickin)

What can I say? Sinful sinful sinful. There are plenty of cheese, chicken, sausages and dunno what else in between the sandwich, all wrapped with omelette. Sauces that came together with it was deliciously wonderful!

and

One Seafood Risotto

Warning: This platter contains overdosage of cholesterol. I mean lookie at the amount of shell fishes! The risotto is good though..and the prawns and scallops and fish. But sorry baby you have to finish the rest hehehe. Not much of a seafood fan.

Eating halfway, we suddenly realised we didnt bring much cash with us -___-” Thought we’d have to help with dish washing in the kitchen already.

So we roughly estimated the total.

I was going for RM80, max RM85 like that la.

Risotto = RM50
Triple H = RM20
Drinks = RM10

Darren agreed, probably RM80 - RM90. I think we should have more than enough, he said. Hahaha.

So when the boss said total was RM54..we were like HUH? O.O So off of our estimation.

Turns out it is like this instead:

Risotto = RM40
Triple H = RM7
Drinks = RM7

Which means my Ribena is only about RM5!! and the yum yum Triple H, RM7!!

I’m so going back there again.

It only takes less than RM15 to give me a Happy Meal :D
